As a user, most people would love to simply be able to type in the text of an article and have it published on their site. They don’t want to be bothered by having to know HTML or Java or other languages. Content management allows you to have a site set up once, and then you can simply add content to it as you need.
Domain Name The Domain name is the user-recognizable name of a web site. deesigned.net is the domain name of this site. When you type a domain name into your web browser, your computer then goes to a DNS server, which tells the browser the numeric address of the web site. HTML. HTML is an acronym for HyperText Markup Language. It was developed quite a few years ago for members of the scientific community to create links between various research articles. JAVA is a computer language that is designed to be platform independent. This means that well-written Java code will work on a Windows, Mac, Linux or any other computer just as well as any other. Java enables much of what you see on the World Wide Web today.
PHP means PHP Hypertext Preprocessor. It’s a recursive name, and many programmers love recursion. This is the computer language that powers many interactive web sites on the Internet. If you have a WordPress site, it is using PHP. It is a powerful server-side language allowing for dynamic web sites with access to databases, mail services and many other features.
Web Site There are many different types of web sites, with many different purposes. In the end, all a web site is, is a group of files that exist on a server that may or may not be connected to the Internet. A browser will connect to that server and then show a user the content of those files. Web Sites are written in a language called HTML, which allows links to be made between various parts of these files.
WordPress. WordPress is a content management system that allows you to easily add new material or make changes to your web site. Rather than having to learn HTML, you can simply log into your site and create and publish articles for your visitors to see.
